Attorney Married 3

Very fortunate that Tony Chiariello took my Spanish 2 Regents exam for me so I could graduate. After Loyola University of Chicago School of Law went on to the Department of Justice in Deleware. Head of criminal division in lower 2 counties of Delaware for 7 years. Started my own firm in Dover in 84. Extensive criminal trial experience in many states. We have 3 daughters and 5 grandchildren. Our youngest daughter (who is also an attorney), was Attorney for Vice Pres. Biden for 8 years. Oldest grandson is junior club golf champion at Country Club of Va. With 4 other friends, built one of the best golf clubs in Delaware- Wild Quail- along with a 187 home development. Plan to never retire. Live at beach most of the time.
Lost both mother and father within 3 months of each other in 2003. My father and I would always enjoy our PRHS talks. Only fond memories. Excited to see all. (It's the least I could do as a small token of payback to Chiariello- otherwise I'd still be in PRHS.) Again, just been very fortunate. I think Sister Georgine at St. Margaret's did a lot of praying for me!!!!

Teacher/Trainer Married 2

After graduating PRHS, I received a BA (Political Science/Secondary Education) from Susquehanna University, where I met my wife and love of my life, Jane Brockway. We just celebrated our 45th anniversary! We have two beautiful, talented and successful daughters; Allison who lives in Hingham, MA with her husband, Brian Joyce and their two perfect children, Emma (5) and Alex (2) and Laura, who lives in NYC (the West Village) with her husband, Jared Nolen.
Professionally, I was a high school teacher/ administrator for 15 years, earning a MA from Montclair State along the way.  After that I went into corporate learning, where I have spent 30 years as a trainer, the last 15 traveling the world in sales training for NCR, Sterling Commerce and IBM. After retiring from IBM, I taught sales education for 2 years at the University of Dayton.
I have pursued my passion (obsession) with football, playing 4 years in college and coaching high school football for 15 years  in four states (NY, NJ, FL,and OH). In that pursuit, I was fortunate to both play for and coach championship teams.
Over the last 30 years Jane and I have lived in Centerville (Dayton) OH, a great place to raise children and watch football! In retirement; I enjoy trying to stay fit, traveling with Jane and visiting our girls and grandchildren.
I look forward to seeing you all in October!  I am disappointed, that my good friend, Andy Avila is, currently, not planning to attend the reunion.  I hope he changes his mind!

Registered Nurse Divorced 2

After graduating high school I went to RCC and Pace University and graduated with a Bachelors in Nursing. Andy Avila and I married and had 2 children: Michael and Christine. We are no longer married, but continue to stay in touch. I have worked in the nursing field since 1973. Working in critical care as a cardiac nurse, and instructor in cardiac rehab. I worked at RCC as a nursing instructor and I am currently working as a nursing consultant and instructor at an agency that cares for individuals with developmental disabilities. I have loved working as a nurse and if I had it to do over again, I would still go into Nursing. It has been a great career. I consider myself very fortunated to still be able to work part time.
I enjoy traveling, going to Broadway plays, rock n roll and country concerts, dancing, exercising and getting together with my best friends from PRHS: Maureen McGowan-Parashkevov, Donna Wylie Perlitz and Bill Perlitz. I also enjoy traveling to Dallas, Texas to visit my daughter Christine and Las Vegas, Nevada to visit my son Michael and I very much enjoy spending time with my sisters, Nora, Kate and Susanne. Looking forward to getting together with my classmates from the great year of 1967 !

Retirement is catching up but still enjoying practicing.  My career has exposed me to domestic and exotic animals, enormous and tiny and many sizes in between. Enjoy an extensive collection of bromeliads and try to stay in shape.
This is all more than I intended to share but still just skimming the surface of a life that had common threads with ya’ll at Pearl River High. I wish you all well, remembering those of us who have passed on, and hope the opportunity to attend the reunion materializes.
